"How U.S. Lost Out On iPhone Work"

If you haven't read the article in Sunday's January 22, 2012 New York Times front page story on how Apple Computer transformed their business model to principally manufacture in China.  The article gets it right and is a case study in what America might need to do to get jobs back inside the U.S..  Here's the link to the entire story:
